The Bollywood Academy( TBA) was founded by Mr Faraz Chohan a visionary who saw the need for an increase in the involvement of the Asian and ethnic communities in the Bollywood industry and the performing arts sector in the United Kingdom.

Faraz Chohan has incorporated acting, vocal, music and Bollywood dance aspects of performing arts and has brought together teachers who are recognised in their respective fields as well as within the Bollywood industry in both India and the UK.

Faraz Chohan has launched The Bollywood Academy in London alongside Naila Mughal who has worked in the Bollywood Industry for over a decade. Naila is renowned for her work as a casting director,  Film Production Manager and Events Manager and is very well connected to the Bollywood Industry. She has worked alongside many stars such as Shahrukh Khan, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal, Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor amongst others. The Bollywood Academy is the first Academy in uk that is connected to the Bollywood film Industry and will give students the great opportunity to work in the Entertainment Industry through Naila Mughal Artistes Agency.

The Bollywood Academy aims to uphold its position as the first ever international centre of excellence for Bollywood Performing Arts. This will be achieved by continuing to be a culturally based educational establishment and by training individuals in every aspect’s of Bollywood Performing Arts. The overriding aim is to equip aspiring and talented students with the skills required for careers, at all levels, within the performing arts industry both in the West and the Asian subcontinent.

Our vision is to become a leading institution in Asian Arts and arts on general and become the leading producer of top projects ranging from stage through to television. TBA is a British based organisation. As an organisation we aim to educate and generate awareness thus increasing the opportunities related to the Bollywood Industry and the Performing Arts sector in the UK.
